Cabbage Stir Fry with Onion and Garlic

Cabbage Stir Fry

This cabbage stir fry tastes delicious on its own, but serve with a grain or protein to make it even more filling! Feel free to add any other veggies you have on hand like mushrooms, carrots, or peppers. The options are endless with this recipe!

INGREDIENTS

  • Cabbage
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 big cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Dash of red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Thinly cut the cabbage and set aside
  2. Slice 1/2 of the onion and dice 1 clove of garlic
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat with a drizzle of oil and saute the onion and garlic over medium heat for 5-6 minutes
  4. In the meantime, make the sauce by combining the soy sauce, 1/2 of the onion (diced), 1 clove of garlic (diced), red pepper flakes, and water
  5. Add in the cabbage to the pan. Once wilted down, pour the sauce over and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes
