Shopping List , Week of June 4, 2018

If you make all of the recipes that we recommend this week, you'll need these items. You may already have some of them in your cupboard and your fridge. They're organized roughly as you'd find them in a store. Quantities are rounded, when it's more sensible to do so. Some ingredients are used "to taste," so a quantity may not be listed. 

  • Produce
    • 1 orange
    • 1 shallot
    • herbs, as desired, to add to biscuits, and anything else
  • Bulk/Dry Goods
    • 5 cups all-purpose flour
    • 8 teaspoons baking powder
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • pepper
    • salt
  • Bottled Items/Condiments
    • 1/3 cup cider vinegar, plus more as a seasoning
    • 3 teaspoons Dijon mustard, plus more as a seasoning
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise, homemade or store bought
    • 1 cup sunflower oil (or another oil of your choice), plus more for cooking
  • Dairy/Refrigerated Items
    • 1 1/2 cups yogurt or buttermilk
    • 1 1/2 sticks butter, plus more for cooking
  • Items from our Localvore Basket
    • 4 breakfast sausage patties
    • 3 ounces cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup frozen blueberries
    • 1 cup maple syrup, plus more to garnish
    • 7 eggs
