Pickled Beets

These pickled beets are a great recipe for those tired of roasting them. Enjoy them on salads, sandwiches, or just by themselves!


  • 3-4 beets
  • 4 tbsp malt vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar


  1. Wash beets well
  2. Heat pot with water until boiling. Add the malt vinegar and sugar, then add the beets.
  3. Boil until tender. Once tender, remove from the pot, allow to cool enough to handle, and cut the beets into coins
  4. Put the beets into a jar and fill with enough leftover liquid from the pot to fill the rest of the jar. Allow to sit for 3-7 days before eating
