Spicy Breaded Brussels Sprouts

These crispy, breaded brussels sprouts are fun to make and eat. Serve them with a side of dijon mustard like we did, or browse through these dipping sauces and find one that suits your tastes!


  • Brussels sprouts
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tbsp bread crumbs
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne (or use more for extra spice)
  • Pinch of salt and pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
  2. Halve brussels sprouts and set aside
  3. Crack eggs into a small bowl and whisk together. Set aside
  4. Add the bread crumbs, cayenne, salt and pepper into another bowl
  5. Coat the brussels sprouts with egg, then roll them around in the bread crumb mixture until evenly coated. Put them onto a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through
