Vermont Vegetable

  • Starter: This is a great fit for an individual, a college student, couples, or anyone who’d like a little less than the average person. Enjoy a selection of the best organic and sustainably grown vegetables, fruit, and herbs in season. There will typically be 5 fruit & vegetable varieties each week. One person would eat 3-4 servings of vegetables (the USDA recommended amount) for one week with the starter. Two people could eat 3-4 servings of vegetables for 3-4 days, or 1-2 servings for one week. Price Per Serving of Vegetables = $1.00

  • Variety: This is the regular/standard size Vermont Vegetable Package that we've been offering for years, and the most popular subscription we offer. A great fit for couples, individuals who cooks often, and small families. There will typically be 6 or 7 fruit & vegetable varieties each week, offering the most variety over the course of the season. One person would eat 4-5 servings of vegetables (above the USDA recommended amount) for one week with the starter. Two people could eat 4-5 servings of vegetables for 3-4 days, or 2-2.5 servings for one week. Price Per Serving of Vegetables = $1.00

  • Value: This package is designed with families, roommates, and avid cooks in mind. This package has a focus on larger quantities of family-friendly staples that will give you a good value and a larger amount of vegetables for your dollar. There will typically be 5 fruit & vegetable varieties each week. One person would eat about 6 servings of vegetables per day (about twice the USDA recommended amount) for one week. Two people could eat 5-6.5 servings of vegetables for 3-4 days (about twice the USDA recommended amount), or about 3 servings (the USDA recommended amount) for one week. Three people could eat about 3-4.5 servings for about 3-4 days, or slightly less than 2 servings for one week. Price Per Serving of Vegetables = $0.90 or less


OMNIVORE

  • Starter: This package includes everything from the VT Vegetable starter, plus the following. There will typically be approximately 1 pound of grass-fed beef, pasture-raised pork, pasture-raised chicken, or wild Alaskan fish each week. A selected dairy item will be included, such as cows' milk cheese, organic goats' milk cheese, organic grass-fed yogurt, and cultured butter. There is also a specialty item added, like maple syrup, honey, frozen berries, sauerkraut, pesto and other sauces, broth, and more.

  • Variety: This package includes everything from the VT Vegetable Variety, plus the following.
