We strive to provide you with the highest quality food, and to provide transparency and traceability. We want you to feel great about what you eat. If at any point in time you are not 100% happy with food that you have received, please contact us.

No. When you sign up for the Intervale Food Hub, you join for the full season. Your commitment helps to support our community of farmers and food makers. We are here to support you throughout the season with recipes and cooking tips, and we encourage you to try new foods, new cooking techniques, and new recipes.
Your food will be delivered to your chosen delivery location, in a basket with your name on it, at the same day and time each week.
Please bring your own bag and leave your basket at your delivery location.
If you receive a thermal bag and/or ice packs, it’s OK to take them home - simply return them with your next pick up.
The Vermont Vegetable is designed to provide an average of 25 servings of vegetables per week. (This may vary slightly depending on what’s in season.) The USDA recommends a minimum of 2.5-3 vegetable servings daily for one person, or 17.5-21 vegetable servings weekly, though more servings are recommended for active individuals. This basket is good for one person who cooks often, two people who cook regularly, and is easy to eat with three or more people.
Remember, we’ll provide a weekly newsletter with cooking tips and recipes to support you as you try new foods!
If you know ahead of time that you can’t make a pick up, please make arrangements to have a friend, coworker, or family member pick up your food. Or, we would be happy to schedule an alternative pick-up at the Intervale Center or another public delivery location. We ask that you notify us of delivery changes at least 1 day in advance.
We do not pick up food after the pick-up window, and we do not offer credit for missed pick-ups. After the pick-up window, for food safety and site management purposes, food is donated at the discretion of our site champions so that it does not go to waste.
We understand that sometimes life does not go according to plan! So, we do offer a once-per-season replacement basket when you miss a pick up. Replacements are packed with on what we have available in our inventory, so specialty items might not be available for replacement. This food can be picked up at the Intervale Food Hub, or added to your next delivery. Contact us to schedule your replacement
Yes. Please contact us to make changes to your order or your pick up location.
When you sign up online, you can choose to pay in full or in installments.
You can pay online with PayPal or debit/credit card, or mail a check. Login to your account to make a payment online!
We also accept cash payments and EBT/3SquaresVT payments in person at the Intervale Center office. Contact us to schedule a payment in person.
If you choose to pay in installments when you order, your installments will be automatically scheduled in your account.
To make automatic installment payments, link your PayPal account to your Intervale Food Hub account when you check out. Then, you will be charged automatically on the first of each month.
You can also pay installments without a PayPal account, by logging in to your account to make payments online each month. Payments are due the 1st of the month. We will send e-mail reminders the following business day. View payment instructions below under “How do I make a payment online?”

Please note: Late payments will not cancel your order! If payment is late, the Intervale Food Hub reserves the right to hold your food at the Intervale Center until payment is made. The Intervale Food Hub will withhold delivery when the value of food delivered exceeds the value of payments received.
