The best of Vermont's produce in our smallest size, curated weekly for peak seasonality. 

This is a great fit for an individual, a college student, couples, or anyone who’d like a little less than the average person. Our smallest basket with approximately 5 produce items each week. Enjoy a selection of the best organic and sustainably grown vegetables, fruit, and herbs in season. One person would eat 3-4 servings of vegetables (the USDA recommended amount) every day for one week with the starter. Two people could eat 3-4 servings of vegetables for 3-4 days, or 1-2 servings for one week. Price Per Serving of Vegetables = $1.00


Week of June 20th, 2022



  • Strawberries from Last Resort Farm in Monkton, VT. A bit of color to help celebrate summer! Wait to wash strawberries until just before eating. I’ll be eating mine rather promptly, but if you’re interested in storing them, top the greens from the berries & freeze for future use. Enjoy in 3 days. Certified Organic 

  • Mesclun Mix from Diggers’ Mirth Collective Farm in Burlington, VT. Store tender greens in your crisper in your fridge, away from ethylene-producing fruits. Leaving the bag open slightly - or transferring the greens to a larger container - can allow them to breathe a bit, extending their storage time. Enjoy in 3-5 days. Certified Organic 

  • Baby Spinach from Diggers’ Mirth Collective Farm in Burlington, VT. Store spinach in your crisper drawer, away from apples, and other ethylene-producing fruits. Avoiding excess moisture can extend the storage time a bit as well – loosely wrapping the greens in a paper towel should do the trick. Certified Organic. 

  • Curly Green Kale from Pitchfork Farm in Burlington, VT. Store kale in the coldest part of your fridge, away from excess moisture or fruits like apples and pears. If your kale begins to wilt or lose structure, you can “shock” it in cold water to revive it a bit. Best enjoyed within the week. Certified Organic 

  • Red Radishes from Pitchfork Farm in Burlington, VT. Keep refrigerated in your crisper drawer. Both the radishes and the greens are edible & delicious. The greens are good for about 3-5 days, and the roots stay fresh for a couple weeks. Certified Organic. 

Week of June 27th, 2022



  • Baby Spinach from Burnt Rock Farm in Huntington, VT. Store spinach in your crisper drawer, separated from apples or other fruit. One can extend the storage time a bit as well by loosely wrapping the greens in a paper towel to avoid excess moisture. Certified Organic. 

  • Arugula from Diggers’ Mirth Collective Farm in Burlington, VT. Store tender greens in your crisper in your fridge. Leaving the bag open slightly - or transferring the greens to a larger container - can allow them to breathe a bit, extending their storage time. Enjoy in 3-5 days. Certified Organic. 

  • Scallions from Pitchfork Farm in Burlington, VT. Store in their original packaging, or wrapped in a towel (to avoid excess moisture) inside your fridge’s crisper drawer. Best enjoyed in 3-5 days. Certified Organic. 

  • Napa Cabbage from Intervale Community Farm in Burlington, VT. Store Napa cabbage tightly wrapped in your fridge’s crisper drawer. Properly stored, napa stays fresh for weeks, if not months. If the outer leaves begin to show signs of age, you can often peel them back to reveal a more wholesome interior. Certified Organic. 

  • Macoun Apples from Champlain Orchards in Shoreham, VT. Great for snacking, salads, and cheese plates. Apples store best when kept cool, keep them in your fridge! Apples also produce ethylene, so keep them separate from any tender greens. Eco-apple Certified.
