A pinch of garlic powder(to taste)
1/6 cup of soy sauce
1/8 cup of honey
1/8 cup of rice wine vinegar
A splash of sesame oil(to taste)
A pinch of smoked paprika(to taste)
Toasted sesame seeds(for garnish)
About 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
Small dice onion and mushroom.
Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat; add onion and brown slowly.
Add savoy cabbage to pan with the soy sauce, honey, garlic, and paprika.
Once cabbage has wilted, add sesame oil. (Avoid adding too much sesame oil, as the nutty flavor can overpower the other flavors.)
Transfer cabbage to plate once fully wilted.
Add mushrooms and a splash of olive oil to pan; sautee untill brown.
Feel free to refresh sauce with extra soy, honey, or vinegar to taste.
Place mushrooms atop cabbage and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
