Homemade Ice Cream
Ice cream is simple and doesn't require a machine. This is excellent served on top of apple pie.
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 ½ tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • 16 or 32oz wide-mouth jar
  1. Combine all ingredients in a 16oz or 32 oz wide mouth jar. 
  2. Screw on lid tightly and shake for about 5 minutes, or until cream thickens into a batter-like consistency and doubles in volume.
  3. Freeze for 3+ hours and enjoy!
