Growing Practices
We prioritize sourcing ingredients that are certified organic and grown in Vermont. Our Vermont Vegetable subscriptions primarily include certified organic vegetables, certified organic berries, and certified organic herbs. AH Mushrooms are grown using organic methods, though not certified. Champlain Orchards Pears and apples are Eco Apple Certified. We occasionally source produce that is not certified organic, but is grown using sustainable practices. We also occasionally source produce from Vermont's Deep Root Cooperative, which includes certified organic produce from Quebec. We share the growing methods and source for every item in our weekly newsletter.
